Meet Veltimar Dossat, LMHC

On the surface, you’re holding everything together.

But underneath, something does not feel right.

And you’re here because you’re hoping that someone will finally see you and hear your pain.

You’ve watched all the Tik Tok videos and read the hot pick from your favorite creator. You’ve listened to podcasts and maybe even tried traditional talk therapy. But the anxiety creeps back. The same headache and body aches keep you up at night. And you still find yourself saying ‘yes’ to every request from work and your family, despite being burned out and exhausted.

There’s a reason this keeps happening - let’s figure it out together.

How I work

I provide insightful therapy for value-driven women.

I work with clients who are looking for therapy that:

Not only do I get it, I’ve lived it

As an eldest daughter from a Caribbean and Latin American background, I also understand the layered experience of navigating culture, identity, and responsibility. You won’t have to explain or minimize those parts of your story here.

Clients often tell me they feel both deeply supported and gently challenged in our work—that I meet them where they are, while helping them move out of feeling stuck and into feeling more connected to themselves and others.

And I want to help you live life on your own terms.

Many of my clients come in after trying to think their way out of anxiety, burnout, or relationship patterns—but something still isn’t shifting. That’s because so much of what you’re carrying isn’t just in your thoughts. It lives in your body, your relationships, and the roles you’ve had to play for a long time.

I’m especially skilled at helping you name the patterns that have been hard to see on your own, like the unspoken family rules, the expectations you’ve carried, and the responsibilities you’ve taken on without realizing it.

What does it mean to ‘be well’?

Wellness is a term that looks far past the medical diagnoses, the medication, or the stigma. To me, therapy is an active pursuit of a goal that helps you create a life that feels good. At Let’s Be Well! Counseling Services, you’re more than a label. And I don’t expect you to be anything but yourself. This is an invitation to lean in and be well.
